Migraine and Aura-Mayo Clinic

It felt like my head was in a vice. That’s how some people describe the pain of a migraine. But a migraine is much more than just a headache. It includes symptoms that happen before the pain starts and after it goes away. One of those symptoms is aura, and it can be just as debilitating as the headache itself. And auras can also slightly increase your risk of certain other conditions. More from Mayo Clinic.

Yes! get the aura, visual lose, flashing scintillating scotoma.broken speech etc..its horrible but just ignore it.
I have aura first, then a few minutes later i have that terrible headache, if i don’t throw up, i’ll sleep it off, it’s the only way, but when a migrane hits i either have to be at home or an emergency room…..their horrible…..
Try a drug called Zofran for your Nausea…. get the dissolving tablets …. it will totally wipe out your upset stomach…. I also get Migraine with Aura …. sucks big time… BIG TIME…..
Yeah I get the aura too, all i can do is just lay down and try to sleep until I either throw up like 3 times or it goes away. Really ruins a day.
yeah lucky me,thats exactly what i got, horrible horrible headache and the visual lights runing arund like crazy,i try to ignore it,but guess if that works, god i hope nobody ever gets this damn thing
I have had 3 Auras in my lifetime. All in the past year. My most recent one happened last week. An Aura is like a floater you get from looking at a light that just doesn’t go away. My Auras usually last 20-30 minutes and then the migraine starts. If I just lay down and close my eyes the head ache goes within the hour.
