How come I get a stiff neck after a migraine?

Once a month I get a really bad migraine. Then for the next three days, I have a really bad stiff neck. Anyone know of a link?

you must go to the hospital and get a physical it is very vital. I had an aneurym and had brain surgery and it saved my life!.you must not think it is normal it is not!

I would have it checked out in case it is something more serious. It could also be because you tense up with your headaches. I know I do that and I have to be careful of my head position on my bed pillow when that happens so it won’t make either thing any worse.

Hey Catkinso3201! I also suffer sometimes from migrane, but not with stiff neck. I found those two links, I hope they help.
