Do you know any good ways to help ease pain of migraine headaches?

I get really bad migraine headaches and I’m just looking for any suggestions to help the pain of them.

you can try to have a very strong strong cup of tea or coffee and lye down and relax with no one disturbing for a couple of hours. this should help.


I just try lying down for a while and my migraines become weaker, then go away. You should also see your doctor because they have different types of “emergency” medications that can help.

I used to have nearly daily migraines and my doctor gave me a list of foods that should be avoided or limited and I was surprised to see things like avocado, banana, citrus fruit, etc., that can trigger migraine. But after I reduced or eliminated the foods on the list from my diet, my migraines are now occasional - once every several months. Please check out this link with foods and other triggers.


The suggestions of green tea or strong coffee are excellent, as well as rest. Migraine may be triggered by many things, such as allergy, but the most common trait in my experience is a stong similarity to tension headaches (in spite of the vascular changes only seen in migraine).

Analyze yourself. When did the headaches start, what was going on in your life at that time that might have been stressful to you?

For simple management, relaxation exercises to calm down and not fight the pain can be very helpful. find a quiet spot to rest, practice deep breathing. Sometimes neck massage helps. Ice packs to the neck or heat to the neck may help, depending on the stage of the headache.

There is always Immetrex and it’s new cousin for prescription, but avoid narcotics and tranquilizers unless clearly indicated by a specialist.


Check your stress levels and de-stress, that may not assist but may direct you to the source as it seems people get them when they are stressed. Check the foods you eat. Had a friend who got then when she ate cheese, cheese cake, macaroni and cheese, and so on. A doctor would be good at this point.


As difficult as this might be to believe, your migraines are caused by a spirit and are generally, but not always, the result of sinful thoughts or behaviors.

The migraine and its cause (a spirit) was first identified more than 3,500 years ago in the Ebers Papyrus. Currently, science does not know the origin of migraine headaches, but thinks these old beliefs are just superstitions. They are not!

The next time you experience a migraine, hold an open and relaxed hand over but not touching its focus. If you feel a tingling sensation, you will have confirmation of this spirit.
